Jacques Faucher ... Jacques Blois.

Born in 1922. Was a medical student, deported and sentenced to death by the Nazis. The U.S. release.

One manuscript has been refused, Special Police, because, avant-garde. Presented 2 years later, it was edited by changing the title.

For the construction of the novels: Jacques Blois never did plan and has always started on a story of people (probably the influence of the companions of Emmaus) and accompanies them to the denouement.

For him, writing was a distrction and recreation.

The manuscripts have been accepted immediately without any correction.

Each year, over dinner, all the authors of Black River met in friendship.

Jacques Blois chose the Police-Special collection of admiration for Georges Simenon. This type allows stories varied and lively.

His books have been published by the Black FEUV regularly. Translated in Greece, Spain, South America.

He had an excellent relationship with the literary editor.

Jacques Blois arrested when he voluntarily retired in Provence and found other distractions, after 50 books published.

The arrival of television had no impact on his career.

Lord, all honor! The man with thousands of blankets.

I met a man over 80 years living as an artist, surrounded by his paintings ...
... Back many years back ... before the 60 ... out of the School of Fine Arts in Bordeaux.
The young man at 20 years and a future invent.
Not easy!
He worked for 2 years in a box that produces cartoons ... then 5 years in industrial design from LMT to Boulogne (92) on the Quai de Seine.
Determined to do something else, he assembles a folder with drawings, illustration and paintings, which he presents to publishers. Finally, through a relationship that works in the comics, he reports to the Black River, with whom he begins to make book covers.
And as the Black River is the extension, Michel Gourdon more and more work. Too well!
"This work-fun" lasts for 28 years. Some months, he makes up 20 designs per month. A Herculean task ... Basically, 3500 blankets ... We must imagine! ...
... Suddenly, after 28 years, more than anything!
At 52, he must begin again. Everything.
But, thanks to his fame, he reworked easily to, Tele 7 days, Star TV, Presses de la Cité, etc..
stop at 72 years ... Active retirement. He turned to painting in oil, blood, and individuals offered works by the artist.
Currently, collectors buy the original artwork created for the Black River in those years.

83 years ... a real well-deserved retirement for this charming man ... I hope I see her again.
